This was heavy going, and LIVERPOOL had to deal with a team which played rough, tough kick & rush ,
Mistakes gave the home side chances, which I don’t think would happen if the starting 11 were fresh… for me neither Dom nor Macca show enough In away games, and the latter was hit twice (no yellow card from the moron ref who was part of the scandal at spurs! )
Playing Joe on the left is a waste of a talented player, both he & Ibou almost got punished for dwelling on the ball! If you want to rest Kostas then play Jarell in a back 3 on that side .. or even Harv in that position against a side that plays a 10 man defence at home!
Sheff utd wont get tears from me if they go down… it was like a cup game against a side from a lower league all they had was physical and despite LIVERPOOL having EIGHTY per cent of the ball, the team were just not sharp enough.. and that includes Mo, who had at least 2 chances to make his 200th for LIVERPOOL.
Lucho needs to show us again how to beat the opposing FB and ineffective Cody should have been subbed by 60 mins… of course the few attacks from sheff utd came down our right, where Joe should be playing to release & cover Trents creative involvement..

Ryan & Lucho not able to get into it, Mo should play deeper as creator, unable to get past Ake .. Darwin worked hard but also the s American players a bit lacking of course Matip & VVd sound... Just a reminder; City "got off" at CAS because they were able to argue the punishment UEFA gave them was too late for the offences claimed.
