I watched the 0-3 again. I don’t remember a 0-3 game at Anfield in my 50 years plus of LIVERPOOL experience! (not down to Alzheimer’s BTW!) .. but I am less surprised at the smedia “fall – out”
Too many gutless &/or fickle fan nies .. in or out of our club.. a club that came back from 0-3 against the Milan team in the FINAL (05) and against Barca 2019 semi from 0-3.. that recently (4 years ago) won 0-5 at Bergamo..
Reading from my scribbled notes this morning …
· In my selection I had Endo, but on reflection , I again make the case for a midfield of Macca, Dom & Curtis (when match fit) I don’t think Curtis or DOM are yet back to their best and Macca has been over-played…
· JK & his coaches (who may be half way out the door) trusted the young players in this competition from the start, need to do that..because fresh legs are needed I definitely would have started Jarell (& saved Ibou for Sunday) and given Bobby C & Danns half a game..
· Harv is becoming a very GOOD player, but like his shot against the upright/bar is just a fraction short of being automatic.. probably better from the bench…
· I warn that Endo gets caught on the ball at least once a game, he wasn’t alone, and looking at the pre-match training promo on Lfctv wonder why so many smiles after giving away the match at OT?
· There is never a good reasons to DUMP on any of our players in PANIC after a loss, (see Supporters codex?** )
· Its HALF -TIME, hate to see even mature REDs claiming that its over, WE “NEVER give up”? **
· Some one “feels sorry for fans who already booked DUBLIN accommodation” I do not – I DO feel sorry for homeless / unemployed who cant afford tickets, anyway, and feel SORRY ABOUT those who have “given up”
· I COULD MAKE A CASE AGAINST F S G for causing the atmosphere to be negative over ticket prices BUT TOO often have heard MORE from “away support” in recent season to lay it totally at their corrupt feet!
· I proposed Darwin from bench…and although Kells “slipped” for the first goal, he made BIG saves either side of that, but the ignorant will blame HIM, rather than VVd (well off it) Ibou, Joe, Kostas, Endo , Dom or Macca for the 3 goals against..
· Ata, are erratic, not a “Great side” (JK/Harv..why do we ALWAYS BIG UP opponents in pre match pressers?) but credit to them, they looked more “like us” than our TEAM did… however, MAY well have a dilemma in bergamo, do they sit back? And risk us dominating, do they go for goal & risk maybe a better attacking performance from our lads. The 0-5 from 2020 will be in the coach’s mind ?

That’s how it feels that we lost the lead, we lost top position, we may get the title , 7 more games to go. ..
Plus hopefully a Dublin final. .. and still win a trable.. but ..
This TEAM is not YET a CHAMPIONS team , we had FIFTEEN shots first half, and yet some fans will blame Jarell for his terrible blind pass that gave that nasty shyte Bruno F his equalizer (THEIR first SHOT ON goal in the 50th minute…)didn’t learn much from the FAcup game ! got drawn into a “cup tie” atmosphere which favours the unpredictable lesser mancs….
Blame Mo, Darwin & Dom for failing to keep composure, we should have been at 0=4 or 5 by half time… Endo for me don’t start in such a game, and as I warned did get caught on the ball again, Macca impressive Lucho scored and kept going for the 100 minutes, studs up tackles of course not punished by Taylor. arse nal & the blue mancs must think its xmas?
When I have cooled down I will put myself through it again & watch a repeat before we discuss again on Tuesday, I will be looking to kick something before then.. Robbo did ok, but my selection didn’t start him, Conor put a lot into it, but often the final pass was wanting, got a booking so was an obvious subbing.
Kells hadn’t much to do, theirs saved a hatful, we will play worse & win games, for sure, may just have kept Ten Hag employed, was that the aim 2nd half? No wonder JK was going berserk, going to NEED to win the last 7 league games, and may yet do so…

Kells in form is OUR number 1, AB may be world number 1 but I consider that dropping Kells knocks back our probable Number 1 for the next 10 seasons.. bad management if that happens..IMO Ibou hopefully not as injury prone as the talented dAGGER, one of my fav CBs but its also possible that after VVd Jarell is paired with Joe…if he continues to build on his own vast experience. BTW their goal Thursday night … not down to Joe or Conor, mid caught out by a freaky counter move by SU, & VVd arguably could have cut it out as Conor had 2 on his back post! • 80% possession of the ball isn’t my favourite way but theit lower block makes it difficult, I don’t see much wrong with the REdS game …and we now have players as Macca & DOM who can strike from outside the box too..
Anyway what do I know?, I only watched about 50,000 hours of footy, captained my amateur side, trained kids & the best youth team in the Balkans, & joined Rafa's swiss pre season sessions ( for “fun”) ha ha ha ""

“sir (cur) alex” (manu) would find a 100 “excuses” to withdraw his mancs from national “duty” during championship campaigns, yet LIVERPOOL “play fair” which has always been our way,
BUT considering the INJURY TOLL, surely JK would be justified in keeping his players back as fatigue was a major factor in the FAcup exit… (our SQUAD played 18 games in 10 weeks!!!!)
